I've decided to go with Butterick 7049, here's my first muslin:
I've got a lot of bagginess at the top on both the front and on the back that needs to be addressed. I also think that the front darts are a bit weird, I think they might need to be positioned a little bit lower. They probably also need to be double pointed darts.
It looks pretty good for a first off. You sound like you know what needs fixing. I always need to shorten the back bodice of patterns too!
