Snowed in with Fabric

Hi everyone! Wow, some of you ladies work really fast. I got my supplies in last week and then had to work. Been working from home, in fact. Here in the Southeast there's an inch of ice and even more snow on the ground and everything is shut down. Plenty of time to sew with no place to go! I'll be back soon with an update about my first muslin. (I started this post a couple days ago, but then got distracted with things like long neglected house work and kids home from school the entire week. SHEESH)

  1. I'm in love with your fabric and oh, those red buttons. *sigh* I'd be working faster if my whole house hadn't fallen victim to the plague that's going around. Myself and both my little ones have had it for a week and still going strong. Oh well, soon we'll all be back on track. Good luck on your project - can't wait to see the finished product!

  2. Thanks! The red buttons are vintage bake-lite. They vary a bit in color due to age but I think that will just make it feel more authentic.

  3. I hate doing that "long overdue housework." Loving those red buttons too!

  4. I have those buttons! I used them on a vintage top last summer. I've almost worn that top out already, and off those buttons will come before getting rid of it. :) I love your fabric too.
